Extras Needed for Commericals

The Office of Public Affairs is preparing to shoot the 2011-12 commercials that will run at halftime during televised Illinois sporting events next season and we’re looking for non-speaking extras for two of the scenes.

More information about the scenes, instructions and information on how to sign up can be found at
http://illinois.edu/431/final_instructions_for_extras_2011.doc.

We need a fairly large number of men and women to play students in a classroom and for an outdoor crowd scene. Roughly, we’re looking for people between the ages of 16 and 25, but basically, they need to look (from a distance) old or young enough to be one of our students. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a consent form signed by a parent.

Scenes are June 28 from 11-12:30 in the Beckman Institute and June 29 from 3-5pm in front of Foellinger Hall on the Quad. We’ll take people for one or both days. These are always fun and there’s a good chance participants will be seen on national and regional television for the next year.
