EWB UIUC will be holding the Great Lakes Workshop Conference here at the University of Illinois next Fall 2011. This event will be roughly in October or November depending on what date EWB USA chooses. In order to organize this conference, EWB will need a lot of committed and ambitious people like yourself! Following are some of the positions that I'm looking for people to take leadership roles in for organizing this conference:
1. Webmaster: Design Website; Update Website; Publicity
2. Corporate Director: Prepare Sponsorship Letter; Find corporate sponsors; work with EWB Corporate Chair; Advertise within CU community; Facebook page; Invite local professional chapters e.g. ASCE, USGBC Students
3. Director of Logistic: Accommodation; Parking; Transportation; Directions
4. Marketing - Internal: Advertise within College of Engineering
5. Events Director: Organize Entertainment Events
6. Career Fair Director: Run the Career Fair
7. Volunteer Coordinator Director
If you yourself will be willing to take on this leadership role or be part of a committee, please email Amna back at ewb.uiuc.vpexternal@gmail.com by 04/07 (5:00 pm)
